After nearly a year of waiting, we finally moved into our new home this past July! As everyone always says, it was truly worth the wait. Moving, however, is not without it’s challenges. We got savvy (so we thought) with our moving plans which meant knocking out all the loading and unloading from the storage unit and Chris’ parents house in two days - followed by a whole week off of work to simply unpack and get settled. I’m laughing as I type “get settled” because that first week (and the ones following) were anything but.
A move is supposed to be exciting, which it is. But it’s also filled with so many emotions, changes and pulled muscles - ha! You’re never really prepared for that eerie feeling - feeling like a stranger in your own house. We unpacked everything and looked around all week long at how empty the house was. So empty, in fact, that everything echoed. We had sold most of our furnishings with our last home, so we owned next to nothing when we moved in here. We were starting from scratch with most everything: furniture, décor, and home care essentials.
It was very important to me to start out on a new / fresh foot. Especially when it came to the products in our new home. I was so excited to partner with Thymes a second time, this time (no pun intended) with products in their new Home Care line.

I was able to try a variety of products and scents and I was NOT disappointed.
My favorite by far, is the Mandarin Coriander . The smell alone had me S O L D. I can’t event say that I have a favorite product, but if I had to choose it would be the dishwashing liquid. The formula is biodegradable with naturally derived cleaning agents. You will actually ENJOY doing the dishes with this one ;)

There was one other scent in my goodie bag that is too good to pass up: Washed Linen Hand Wash. This is the perfect touch to your powder room or guest room bath - nothing will welcome your guests more than this classic, homey scent.
You all know I’ve been a super fan of Thymes since the beginning, and I continue to be with the evolution of their brand, and their products. A local MN company with heart and soul and who isn’t afraid to push the boundaries to create new, better products to serve their customers as they grow and change in their lives.
